Wendy White Discusses Social Media to NORD Corporate Council

On November 11, 2009, Siren Interactive Founder and President, Wendy White, spoke at the NORD Corporate Council Meeting in Washington, DC. Wendy presented "Building Relationships with Empowered Patients" about how social media can effectively reach and connect patients with rare disorders, and also discussed how Siren is partnering with NORD to build their web presence for Rare Disease Day 2010. This lively council meeting also included briefings on public health policy issues, advancements in biomedical research, treatment innovation, and the commercialization of orphan products. Other key speakers included:

The NORD Corporate Council is composed of approximately 50 pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies engaged in developing diagnostics and treatments for rare diseases.
